We hebben het hier al vaak gehad over het misbruik met de toegangspasjes waarover BFIT niet rapporteert, hieronder blijkt op Reddit dat dit nog steeds speelt:

Access rules changed in Basic-fit
Consumentenrecht / Consumer Law
I have a 1 year membership with basic-fit. To access the gym you scan a qr code on your phone app. Previously you can scan and re-enter after 1 hour but now it has been increased to 3 hours.
I go to the gym for about 45 minutes then I have to step out to take care of some matters but I'm back within an hour to finish my exercise, with the new change from 1 hour to 3 hours reentry that has become impossible.
I tried speaking to customer service but no luck. Any idea if I have a right to cancel the contract?

I don't think this rule is the exact contractual obligation designed for you. It specifically is designed not for you. In the sense that you have a contract, and by that nobody else should access the gym on your card. Basic fit being budget, they do not have an employee stationed at the entrance, so pre programmed scanning device checks the validity of your card. And that is the crux: it validates your card. It does not validate you.
To
combat abuse of students just passing around the same card, the system simply blocks re-entry for a period as it is deemed unlikely that someone would leave and want to re-enter the gym shortly thereafter. Unrealistic. In most cases. But
it does up the burden for friends and families to just pass the card around.
However, that should not be your issue. You have access to the gym. You have a card. You have a contract. That their method is "onze size fits all", and it does not fit you, should not be your problem to begin with. You can perfectly indicate it is you, with your card, and a valid contract.
Simply ring the bell and wait for an employee to show up. File a complaint if you want. I doubt this is severe enough for a full contract cancellation.
