SP = Share Price

I'm not a fan of twitter to be honest as it contains so much white noise at times that its not always worth the effort. In my own business my marketing dep't run it so i don't get involved, thank goodness. That being said, i do appreciate that there are one or two useful nuggets of information, if you can be bothered to wade through all the cr@p.
However, i was disappointed tonight to read earlier comments from supposed "shareholder investors" complaining about
lack of updates from the company. These are not investors, they are short term chancers. They most likely want a quick positive update to bump up the share price and cash out for a few extra quid before Christmas to get some extra gifts.
Frankly we don't need these short termers. I would rather they cash out now and leave us to it. If they want get rich quick, they should go to the casino and take their chances there!!!
It takes time to build a business, a long time. I can tell you what GM and the team are doing at Novacyt is just incredible work. I don't need them to keep updating us small shareholders at every turn, I want them to remain focused on want they are good at, what they are doing best;
Building this business, build it up and ultimately the SP will follow.The exponential growth they are building is at a whole new level. In my own business I can only dream about the sort of sized orders they are securing, its truly remarkable. I have said before that
once in a generation you see a business like this, they don't come along often and when they do you need to back them. I'm backing them. I'm here for the long term.
For me its not a quick fix, my personal SP target is north of £40. Yes you read it here, north of £ 40 and when we get there i might review it again!! and if that's in three years time so be it.
I genuinely believe that Novacyt will be a future world class titan and i have total confidence in the BOD to get the business there. As shareholders we just need to show patience and support of the company along the journey. I think sometimes RI can lose sight of what it is they actually have part ownership in.
It really is terrific to own a small part of this fantastic business, we are very lucky to have this opportunity. For what its worth, I don't think GM will read twitter anyway, I hope not. I certainly don't want him distracted in anyway from the exceptional work being done, just to keep at it.
