Now Saab's future hangs in the Chinese partners, said Maud Olofsson.
- If there is a partnership with Pang Da and Youngman, and if they have the financial muscle - then it is this that can do that this can work, says Minister Maud Olofsson told SvD.
Just over a week ago, met with Maud Olofsson Chinese National Development and Reform Commission NDRC, which must approve all major deals.
And she is quite hopeful that the deal between Saab Automobile and car dealer Pang Da and automaker Youngman could get the green light from the Chinese authorities.
It will then give Saab Automobile 2.3 billion.
Maud Olofsson describes the meeting with the NDRC that it was a good discussion and that she could present the Saab's advantage.
- I also made a comparison with Volvo Geely affair. On the NDRC, they are very happy with it so it gives us a good "track record". But even then it took a strong financing before they approved the deal, said Maud Olofsson told SvD.
