    Even een vraag als noob: Zijn ze eigenlijk domweg gewoon niet te klein om niet overgenomen te worden? De pharmareuzen smijten met miljarden. Dus wat kan Van de Stolpe doen om de boot (zolang mogelijk) af te houden?

    Klopt, overname kan er wel in zitten. Een gigant zoals J&J bijvoorbeeld heeft enorm veel cash. Van de Stolpe kan rare beschermingsconstructies maken zoals Fugro. Google Fugro maar, dat fort is goed verdedigd.

    This makes it interesting: "Nine companies competed for rights to help Galapagos develop and sell filgotinib more than three years ago"

    and "Given the cheap cost of capital and pharmaceutical companies’ large cash piles, paying a big premium for Galapagos won’t be an issue for most firms even if bidding does get competitive,"

    Will be an interesting rollercoast ride the coming months/years. Nerves of steel can pay off in a big way ;-)
