IEX onafhankelijke berichtgeving?

   Ik plaats dit in de koffiekamer om eens aandacht vragen
   over de berichtgeving op de IEX site in de
   headlines van" laatste beursnieuws".
   
   Het komt m.i. steeds vaker voor dat IEX een bericht plaatst
   die m.i. bewust zò geplaatst word om de koers te beïnvloeden.
   En ik vindt het misleidend naar de lezers van de IEX site
   die hier toch naar kijken omdat dit opvalt vanwege de plaatsing
   in die headlines.
   
   Het gaat in dit geval om het volgende bericht...
   
   "Ebusco heeft als onderdeel van een herstructurering van het bedrijf besloten om het executive committee te schrappen. Dit maakte de bussenbouwer uit Deurne woensdag bekend.
   
   Functies als Chief Technology Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer en Chief Commercial Officer verdwijnen helemaal en voor de rol van Chief Operational Officer neemt Ebusco afscheid van Roald Dogge.
   
   In de nieuwe opzet is de operationeel directeur volledig verantwoordelijk voor het kernproces van de organisatie: van de busverkoop tot de productie en de zogeheten aftersales. Dit betekent dat de nieuwe rol van de operationeel directeur ook nieuwe vaardigheden vraagt, aldus de bussenbouwer. Daarom werd besloten om te breken met de huidige COO Roald Dogge. Dit gebeurt per eind dit jaar. Michel van Maanen, die nu nog transformation director is, zal de rol van Dogge overnemen.
   
   Ebusco zal op korte termijn een buitengewone aandeelhoudersvergadering organiseren om goedkeuring te krijgen voor de benoeming van Van Maanen.
   
   Na deze goedkeuring bestaat het bestuur naast Van Maanen uit CEO Christian Schreyer, interim-CFO Jan-Piet Valk en oprichter en voormalig CEO Peter Bijvelds.
   
   Verder liet Ebusco weten dat sinds de laatste update op 14 november, bestellingen voor 95 bussen zijn geannuleerd. Deze bussen waren nog niet in productie. Het gaat volgens de fabrikant om bussen "met een complexe configuratie" die niet langer passen in de productportefeuille van Ebusco."
   
   En het volgende is het pb van het bedrijf zelf...
   
   24 October 2024), Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) will no longer exist. The direct reports of the CHRO will be transferred to Christian Schreyer as the CEO and the Engineering, Sales and After Sales departments will report to the COO.
   
   After shareholders’ approval, to be obtained at the EGM, the revised Management Board will consist of Christian Schreyer, Jan-Piet Valk (ad interim), Peter Bijvelds and Michel van Maanen.
   
   Ebusco appreciates the strong commitment of the departing Executive Committee members, during their time at the company and wants to thank them for their contributions.
   
   Commercial update
   During the recently completed Rights Issue, the company announced its intention to expedite the sale of previously cancelled buses as part of the measures to improve its working capital position. On 14 November 2024, the company reported its first results, reassigning 21 Ebusco 3.0 buses to NIAG. Today, the company reaffirms its commitment to expedite the sale of the cancelled buses by reassigning an additional 22 Ebusco 3.0 buses to one of Ebusco’s existing customers, underlining the strong market fundamentals for Ebusco’s products.
   
   Based on the ongoing discussions with various existing customers, Ebusco is confident in its ability to reassign the remaining buses that are in an advanced stage of production.
   
   Since Ebusco’s last commercial update on 14 November, the company has come to agreements with various customers on the cancellation of 95 buses. These orders include buses not yet in production and complex configurations that are not part of the company’s current portfolio. The discontinuation of these orders will contribute to a more realistic production plan.

   Het zou IEX sieren om het HELE persbericht te plaatsen en niet de helft.

   Verkeerde loket, en een merkwaardige voorstelling van zaken. Het is geen bericht van IEX, IEX plaatst geen integrale persberichten. En het juiste loket heeft hier het enige nieuwe uitgehaald voor passanten, zonder oud nieuws te gaan herhalen. Zoals je zelf indirect al aangeeft, weten niet-passanten de persberichten van de primaire bron te vinden, zonder redactionele verrijkingen en samenvattingen voor luiere lurkers.
