   NEWARK, DE--(Marketwire - April 1, 2008) - O2Diesel Corporation (AMEX: OTD) announced today financial results for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2007.
   
   For the fiscal year ended December 31, 2007, the Company reported revenues of $358,464 as compared to revenues of $250,934 for the same period of 2006, The Company reported a net loss of $10.8 million, or ($.14) per share for the year ended December 31, 2007, as compared with a net loss of $13.2 million, or ($0.20) per share for the same period of 2006.
   
   Alan Rae, the Company's CEO, stated, "Our growth plans in 2007 supported an expansion of our operations on a global basis which will continue to gain momentum in 2008. We continue to target emerging markets worldwide with our clean renewable fuel technology. Additionally, we anticipate a milestone decision by the military near the end of the second quarter of 2008, which should have a significant impact on our US operations. We recently announced our plans to jointly develop cellulose ethanol production in Europe and other key global markets using the technology developed by KL Processing, with the critical objective to provide O2Diesel and wider markets with competitively priced ethanol that meets all of the emerging legislation on sustainability. This will allow us to offer O2Diesel's clean burning alternative diesel fuel to large national customers at a cost below that of regular diesel."

   O2Diesel Receives Notice from AMEX of Failure to Satisfy a Listing Rule or Standard of Compliance
   
   As previously reported, on February 7, 2008, the Company received a notice from the AMEX that due to the deferral of the ProEco Energy Company project, the Company was no longer demonstrating progress consistent with the July 27, 2007 plan and was commencing action to de-list the Company's common stock from AMEX. The Company filed an appeal of the AMEX's action on February 12, 2008 and is waiting to present the Company's plan to remain on AMEX at a hearing scheduled for April 15, 2008.

   O2Diesel Corporation (AMEX: OTD), a pioneer in clean burning renewable ethanol diesel fuel blends, today announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of YellTec GmbH., a German company which specializes in biofuels distribution. YellTec is focused on small to medium size truck fleets and operates an exclusively German based network of its own strategically located fueling points with sales estimated to be approximately EUR 34 million or $50 million at current exchange rates for the year ended December 31, 2007.
   
   Together with its recently announced licensing agreement with KL Process Design Group for second generation ethanol process technology, this acquisition is another important step in the Company's diversification and expansion strategy and will provide O2Diesel with a significant foothold in one of Europe's largest markets for biofuels. The Company plans to leverage YellTec's infrastructure, customer base, proprietary technology and management resources to become a leading provider of innovative biofuels supply and services in the German truck fleet market. YellTec will become a wholly owned subsidiary of O2Diesel Europe and will target small to medium size truck fleet operators providing a variety of fuel blends according to customer needs, while taking advantage of the constantly changing price differentials between mineral diesel and renewable fuel components.

    Ook Nederland gaat voor BIO. Zeer interessant om te volgen, zoals gisteren ook in de tweede kamer is besproken.
    
    De autoconstructeurs Ford, Volvo en Saab promoten E85. Ze hebben in hun gamma al vier jaar auto's die zowel op E85 als op gewone benzine kunnen rijden, en op elke verhouding daartussen. Een sensor in de brandstoftank meet de verhouding en past het injectiesysteem aan. De technologie heet flexfuel. Dat het juist de Zweedse autoconstructeurs Volvo en Saab zijn die pionieren met flexfuelauto's is geen wonder. De Zweedse overheid voert een aanmoedigingsbeleid voor E85. Petroleummaatschappijen worden er verplicht het in hun gamma op te nemen. In 2009 moeten er 2.000 tankstations zijn waar E85 te koop is.
    
    Intussen sprongen ook andere landen op de kar. In Frankrijk startten de tankstations van de warenhuisketens Carrefour en Leclerc met een aanbod van E85, waardoor er eind dit jaar 300 tankstations de biobrandstof aanbieden. De Franse overheid heft ook geen accijnzen op E85. Daardoor kan de brandstof er getankt worden vanaf 80 cent per liter, goedkoper dus dan diesel. Ook in Zwitserland, Duitsland, het Verenigd Koninkrijk en Ierland zijn de eerste E85-pompen intussen open. In Nederland openden de invoerders van Volvo en Saab een pomp op hun eigen terreinen.

    Tamoil is druk in de weer met een tweede generatie bio-ethanol waarbij helemaal geen voedselgewassen meer nodig zijn voor E85
    
    Tamoil wil dit jaar nog negentien extra bio-ehtanol pompen neerzetten. De eerste daarvan opent nog deze maand bij Volvo-dealer Scholten in Nijmegen. De andere verschijnen in Zaltbommel, Eindhoven, Tilburg, Rotterdam. Lochem, Assen, Purmerend, Bergen op Zoom. Oisterwijk, Roosendaal, Ugchelen, Leidschendam, Nieuwegein, Harderwijk en Nieuwendijk. Over de overige locaties wordt nog gedacht, maar er komt er in elk geval eentje in Amsterdam.

    Zeker gezien de huidige olieprijzen en oliehonger van USA en China, zal de doorbraak eerder komen dan verwacht in Amerika en USA. Alleen is de prijs nu wel gelijk, maar de energieopbrengst nog wel 20% lager dan gewone bezine. Zodra de Nederlandse regering net als in Frankrijk de accijns niet meer heft, zal E85 ook in ons land een grote vlucht nemen, want ons ben zunig.

    Gratis rijden op E85 en aardgas
    
    Een aantal merkdealers uit de regio Nijmegen zullen binnenkort een achttal auto’s gratis ter beschikking stellen aan ondernemers en zakelijke rijders. Zo stellen de dealers van Ford, Saab en Volvo onder andere flexifuel modellen ter beschikking. Ondernemers kunnen zich hier 18 april voor aanmelden. De dealers werken samen met de provincie, de gemeente Nijmegen en oliemaatschappij Tamoil. De laatste verlaagde de literprijs van E85 (mix van 15% benzine en 85% ethanol) aanmerkelijk naar 1,55 eurocent, gelijk het niveau van gewonde benzine.
    
    De stimulans van de beide overheden is een reactie op de in november vorig jaar gestelde vraag van de merkdealers om schone brandstoffen nu eens echt een kans te geven. Provincie, dealers, Tamoil en de gemeente Nijmegen zullen 18 april dan ook een intentieverklaring tekenen om dit te bewerkstelligen. Daarnaast heeft de gemeente Nijmegen die dag de Grote Markt ‘ter beschikking gesteld’ zodat ook het grote publiek kennis kan maken met de automodellen die schone brandstof gebruiken. Tevens start dan de week van de schone brandstoffen om de consument uit te leggen wat daar onder wordt verstaan.
