    Keine Besserung in Sicht: US-Baufinanzierer Fannie Mae mit Megaverlust

    Der US-Baufinanzierer Fannie Mae hat im abgelaufenen Jahr einen gigantischen Verlust angehäuft und braucht weitere Hilfe vom Steuerzahler. Unterm Strich häufte der größte Immobilienkreditgeber des Landes ein Minus von 74,4 Mrd. $ (54,6 Mrd Euro) auf. Das ist einer der höchsten Verluste der US-Wirtschaftsgeschichte. Ein Lichtblick sieht Fannie-Mae-Chef Mike Williams dennoch.

    Derzeit drängt sich der Eindruck auf, das Zentraum der Schuldenkrise habe sich von den großen Industrienationen im Westen ans östliche Mittelmeer verlagert.     Pound under attack as debt worries grow

    THE pound faces a rough week with uncertainty over the outcome of the general election and concerns over the public finances threatening to trigger a new wave of selling.

    A dwindling Conservative poll lead is heightening fears of a hung parliament. Fears over Greek debt, which were undermining the euro, have begun to hit sterling, as concerns have grown that worries over sovereign debt could spread.

    NEW YORK – The Greek financial saga is the tip of an iceberg of problems of public-debt sustainability for many advanced economies, and not only the so-called PIIGS (Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Greece, and Spain). Indeed, the OECD now estimates that public debt-to-GDP ratios in advanced economies will rise to an average of around 100% of GDP. The International Monetary Fund has recently put out similar estimates.

    Fortis II in de maak...

    Het is allemaal te mooi om waar te zijn.
    USA krijgt zijn eigen BANK terug.
    Het verkwanselen van de eigen bank naar prive is een grote fout geweest.
    beroemde dagen voor kerst.

    Europa kapot gespeeld dollar kan blijven en nu de bank weer terug in handen van de overheid gewoon geen banken meer prive.

    Europa de schuld van de USA mooi kleiner gemaakt.

    Nu is het tijd voor let op...

    CHANGE...

    Nu is het wel duidelijk BUSH koop huis al heeft u geen geld of werk...

    Deze wist wel dat het door verkocht werd....

    Bush heeft de USA eigenlijk van de afgrond gered..

    Al die miljarden aan troep is door verkocht..

    EVEN GESCHROKKEN gisteren : ING staat bloot aan 15 miljard PIGS-PAPIER , ook KBC en Soc. Generale en heb ook vernomen dat ze veel in de doofpot steken ( ook BNP Paribas wilde na de cijfers daar niet op ingaan ! )

    Opletten met banken ( bij Fortis was ook alles in orde ... )
