thanks for your info.
I have another couple of question on tier1 bond issued by dutch companies
I would like to know your feeling about the strenght of this banks
XS0215294512 NIBC in usd floater perp linked to cnms trading below 50
NL0000116457 FRIESLAND BANK PERP FLOATER LINKED TO CMS TRADING AROUND 50
A part of my portfolio is invested in small banks because they tend to not have prorpietary trading and so they will not be affected too much if there will be a sovereign crisis.
In other words if i understood well, in order to fail, FRIESLAND SHOULD HAVE LENT HIS MONEY TO BORROWER THAT ARE GOING TO DEFAULT. AS LONG AS THEY LEND MOSTLY TO AGRICULTURAL COMPANIES I WONDER HOW THESE COMPANIES CANNOT GIVE BACK THE MONEY TO THE BANK AS LONG AS AGRICULTURAL PRICES HAVE NEVER BEEN SO HIGH
Most of the time tier1 trading around 50 are issued by weak companies such as aegon taht sometimes not paying coupon on hybrid such as depfa, austvb, ernste.
AS far as i understood NIBC and FRIESLAND are soldi bank?
What do you thing about it?
Many thanks
stefano
