   <<<zal wel domme opmerkingen maken. want krijg niet echt antwoord op dat pmi verhaal...
   
   hmm zelfs als je domme opmerkingen maakt dan word je hier nog wel onderuit geschoffeld? dus weet iemand iets hoe we die pmi moeten waarderen ten opzichte van andere cijfers?? consuvertrouwen van 500 mensen is nou iets waar ik niet echt in geloof... is dat nou met een PMI ook zo??

   The ISM index is actually a composite of five sub-indexes - new orders, production, supplier deliveries, inventories, and employment. In surveying over 300 companies each month, the ISM asks for positive, negative, or unchanged readings on each of these indicators. The positive responses are added to one half of the unchanged responses to produce the diffusion index. For example, if 50% of respondents reported stronger orders, 40% reported weaker, and 10% unchanged, the diffusion index for orders would be 55%, the 50% positive plus half of the 10% unchanged. While regional economic developments are of interest to those who live in the region, they are not particularly important to the markets. If a region cannot help in forecasting national trends, then its data are not particularly useful. So say adios to Atlanta, Richmond, Kansas City, and who knows how many others which have cropped up in recent years.

   Alles is wel balangrijk denk ik alleen wie de afgelopen maand goede huizencijfers had verwacht.. Verwacht de komende maanden ook nog niets, maar misschien kan de lage hypotheek rente in de US de boel weer op gang trekken.

   maar de rentes zijn toch al laag??? hoe veel lager moet het worden?? zoals paulus dat stelde? geld toe als je maar leent?? behoorlijk destructief plan zeg ik :D

   Toch weer een leermomentje.
   
   Had in één van mijn virtuele porto's General Mills (GIS) long gekocht. Vanuit de gedachte: dubbele dip, defensief blijft wel liggen. Maar ik had geen rekening gehouden met tegenvallende cijfers die het 'defensieve' karakter ongedaan zouden maken.

We looked at the correlation of all of these indexes to the national ISM and found substantial differences in their forecasting ability. The winners is...drum roll please...Chicago. The Chicago PMI index, which is released on the last business day of the month (with data for the same month), has an impressive 91% correlation with the national ISM.

    conclusie PMI is prima indicator van het hele land want het lijkt 91% op die van de ISM? ok kijk hier kunnen we wat mee...

    was mijn 1e gevoel en plan bij WTI toch goed, ach ik zit nu ook in de markt. misschien worden mijn sell-stops rond 75.15 ook nog geraakt.

    Boven de 50 wordt gezien als groei, eronder als krimp.
    

    Het enige lichtpuntje is dat de werkgelegenheid is aangetrokken zoals Traderon ook al eerder meldde. Als die correlatie idd klopt zouden we zelfs een vast week kunnen krijgen, er zit momenteel aardig was shit in de markt. KW s&p nu op 12,4.
