    The US money will not be enough…

    Saab’s administrator Guy Lofalk wants to stop the reconstruction, the reason being that there isn’t enough money in the company to continue the reconstruction according to Lofalks statements to Reuters.

    (Reuters) - The administrator in charge of Saab's (SWAN.AS) reorganization said on Thursday there was not enough cash to save the carmaker and that he had sent an application to a Swedish court to end the process.

    "The money is not enough to continue the reorganization," Guy Lofalk told Reuters.

    "Now, an application (to terminate the reorganization) has been mailed. It should be on the court's desk tomorrow."

    Lofalk added that the $70 million promised by North Street Capital on Thursday for Saab was far from enough to continue reorganization.

    He said Chinese investors Zhejiang Youngman Lotus Automobile Co and Pangda Automobile Trade Co (601258.SS) are keen to buy Saab but have failed to reach an agreement with Saab's current owners.

    "I can just say that the parties didn't manage to reach an agreement on a sale," he said.

    The two Chinese companies in June signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding to take stakes in Saab for a combined 245 million euros.

    Lofalk said he was told by authorities in China that the companies had the financial muscle to save the carmaker.

    Chinese authorities have yet to give a green light on the two taking ownership in Saab.

    most likely the company is negotiating to buy Saab ?!?

    North Street Capital wil blijkbaar serieus gaan inkopen? Herinner me een tijd terug nog dat VM naar de USA is geweest . . .

    Voor ik het bericht las van stopzetting reorganisatie dacht ik : Slimme zet van VM door NSC te laten investeren komt er druk op de chinezen. Deze waren er volgens mij op uit om via faling een koopje te doen, zeker als het phoenix platform al in pand stond. Maar dan gaat diene lofalk ff roet in het eten gooien!

    Je draait de volgorde om. Lofalk trekt de stekker eruit en Muller gaat rare dingen doen.

    We can now reveal important details of the game behind the scenes of Saab's reconstruction.
    According to several sources of P4 West, including a high-ranking source at Saab, the Saab administrator Guy Lofalk act on behalf of the Finance Ministry to get rid of Saab's CEO Victor Muller.
