    Shell to rebrand NewMotion and Greenlots to create global electric mobility offer through Shell Recharge Solutions

    Shell to bring electric mobility portfolio businesses under unified brand to simplify customer offer.

    Shell announced today the rebranding of group portfolio companies NewMotion and Greenlots to Shell Recharge Solutions as it further integrates its global electric vehicle (EV) charging offer. The rebrand will be completed in early 2022 and will tie together Shell's regional EV charging businesses under a unified global brand.

    Shell acquired NewMotion in 2017 and Greenlots in early 2019. Together the two companies sell and install charge points at homes, workplaces, destinations and depots, operating nearly 80,000 charge points. The teams also provide software solutions and access to over 300,000 public charging points in Europe, North America, and South East Asia.

    Shell Recharge Solutions will continue to develop a global portfolio of products and services to help a rapidly growing number of customers transition to electric mobility; whether it is through depot-based charging systems or at home solutions.

    “The upcoming brand change will help Shell to move our electric charging capability and offer from local to global; we will unify our brand, our people, and our capabilities across Europe, Asia and North America, ensuring we are better placed to provide our customers with the EV Charging solutions they need,” said Roger Hunter, Vice President Shell Electric Mobility.

    “The world is preparing for a massive uptake of EVs over the next decade. By 2030, it is expected that there will be at least 125 million plug-in vehicles on the roads, compared to just 10 million today1. A user base of that scale demands an end-to-end approach to charging infrastructure to meet its needs,” said Melanie Lane, CEO NewMotion, “By making charging simpler and investing in smart technologies, we will help enable the mass adoption of EVs and support the drive towards a lower carbon world.”

    “Over time, Shell Recharge customers will have access to an increasing range of products and services allowing them to charge when and where they want, to use the payment method of their choice and to have a flexible electric driving experience.” said Andreas Lips, CEO Greenlots, “We have ambitious targets and as Shell Recharge Solutions we will further integrate the expertise shared across these businesses to provide more customers with smart EV charging solutions.”

    Shell Recharge Solutions will support customers in their transition to electric mobility. The team will provide Shell Recharge branded hardware and software services for home and business, in addition to supporting the Shell Recharge public charging network, and providing existing white label solutions.

    Shell has committed to becoming a net zero emissions business by 2050, or sooner in step with society. Shell’s ambition is to operate 500,000 charge points by 2025 and 2,500,000 by 2030 and this is an important step in realising that ambition.

    Notes to editors:
    - Following the rebrand Greenlots’ doing business as name will be Shell EV Charging Solutions Americas
    - Following the rebrand NewMotion’s legal name will be Shell EV Charging Solutions Europe.
    - Greenlots will not be rebranded in Asia, at the moment, due to the specific business needs in local markets, though products and -services offered in this market will fall under the Shell Recharge and Shell Recharge Solutions brands.
    - Shell is the world’s largest mobility retailer with over 46,000 retail sites.
    - Shell currently installs a charge point every 20 minutes of every working day.
    - Shell Recharge Solutions’ SKY EV Charging Network Software is an open standards-based cloud platform that simplifies owning and operating EV charging infrastructure

    Ik vind het alleen jammer dat je nog op het nivo van 3 maanden terug acteert. Er zijn zoveel gefundeerde antwoorden op je vragen geweest dat je echt grote stappen had kunnen maken.

    Zojuist voor de derde keer intraday de steun van 19.30 euro getest.
    Dat is technisch ruim vorldoende om de uptrend weer op te pakken.
