   Die grote jongens kunnen de koers alle kanten opsturen, dat is duidelijk. Maar wel onverklaarbaar hoge uitslagen. Vrijdag van plus 40% naar plus 25%. En dan vandaag min 9%. Vrijdag heel hoog volume en vandaag ook hoger dan normaal. Elk weldenkende belegger zou door de zekerheid die de verkoop bracht hogere koersen verwachten. Maar gelet op de koers vandaag zijn er meer shorters bijgekomen. Waarschijnlijk worden hele sectoren geschort. Maar deze shorters zullen ooit eens coveren, maar niet nu dus. Morgen 18,50 en eind volgende week 22,- het kan maar zo…

   Grubhub is discontinuing use of its Russian-made food delivery robots at college campuses following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
   
   The announcement affects the Yandex food delivery robots launched at Ohio State University last fall and at the University of Arizona in November. The robots operated on the Grubhub app and rolled autonomously across campus to deliver food to students. Grubhub, headquartered in Chicago, will work with its partners on “alternate service options as we shift away from Yandex over time,” a company spokesperson wrote in an emailed statement.
   
   Russia began widespread military attacks on Ukraine on Feb. 24, prompting sanctions from many governments. Many Western companies have also cut off long-standing business relationships or ceased operations in Russia.
   
   “We will be ending our partnership with Yandex,” Grubhub’s statement reads. “We seriously take our commitment to the universities that we partner with – and ultimately the student diners who order from the Grubhub platform – to make food ordering and delivery available on campus.”
   
   Ohio State has already stopped using the robots on campus, according to an emailed university statement.
   
   “Ohio State affirms and supports GrubHub’s decision to end their partnership with Yandex,” the statement read. “We have ceased the rover delivery option on campus. Our hearts and thoughts continue to be with all those who are impacted by the conflict in Ukraine, and we encourage any campus community member who needs support to reach out.”
   
   Robotic deliveries also stopped at the University of Arizona, and humans will handle Grubhub deliveries, the school told KOLD News 13.
   
   Autonomous food delivery has become more common on college campuses in recent years. A more popular delivery robot provider, Starship Technologies, saw demand for autonomous delivery climb during the pandemic, tripling deliveries in 2021 and now operating more than 1,700 robots globally, according to its website.

    Ze hebben heel veel geld, als ze vandaag niet hebben verkocht verwacht ik een uitbreiding van positie komende dagen. Hopelijk snel nieuws of geruchten over JET (nieuwe Grubhub+ klanten, verkoopbedrag, marktaandeel of deals). Kan zomaar zo zijn dat Jitse markt verrast door eerst Menulog (500 mio) te verkopen en gelijk buybacks start. Aandeel schiet naar 30 euro voordat Grub is verkocht!

    FED gaat Wallstreet sussen en rally gaat verder. Genoeg geld langs zijlijn, partijen die zomerrally hebben gemist gaan weer instappen. Ik had echt verwacht dat Softbank of Berkshire een belang zouden nemen in JET.

    NEW YORK, Aug 15 (Reuters) - Investment firm Tiger Global Management, which lost billions of dollars in this year's technology meltdown, slashed or completely exited most of its holdings in the second quarter, potentially cutting its exposure to a recent stock rally, according to a filing released Monday.
    Among the companies in which Tiger reduced positions are online used-car seller Carvana , cyber company Crowdstrike Holdings , software maker Snowflake , payments company Nu Holdings , retailer JD.com <9618.HK>, food delivery app Doordash , cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase and Microsoft .
    It also dissolved its investments in Robinhood and Zoom Video Communications Inc and Docusign Inc , the filing showed.
    Chase Coleman's hedge fund saw its flagship fund fall 50% in the first half of the year, as worries over the Federal Reserve’s tightening monetary policy and surging inflation slammed many of the growth and technology stocks the firm held. It is unclear, however, what its strategy has been since then. The firm did not immediately comment on the matter.
    Many of the shares it had sold have since rebounded in a rally that has seen the tech-heavy Nasdaq composite gain 18.8% in the current quarter.
    For instance, Carvana's shares more than doubled in price since the end of June, but Tiger sold its stake almost entirely. Shares of e-commerce and gaming firm Sea Ltd are up 35% in that time frame, while Snowflake has rebounded 23%. Tiger cut its positions in Sea and Snowflake by 39.4% and 68.9%, respectively.
    In a letter to investors, the fund said it underestimated the impact of surging inflation but added it was making careful bets. [nL4N2ZH12P]
    Quarterly filings known as 13-fs are one of the few ways that funds are required to disclose their long positions, but may not reflect current holdings. While the filings information is dated, they are closely watched for possible investment trends and potential future performance.
