    Nee dat is niet hetzelfde, jij zegt dat we goed gegokt hebben en dat klopt aantoonbaar niet, ik lig er niet wakker van maar het is een feit dat de koers na de vaststelling van de dividendkoers op 3,87 tot onder de 3,40 gezakt is en dat is meer dan 2x het dividend.
    Ergo, je had als je voor cash gekozen had en direct voor dat bedrag zelf gekocht had je nu meer aandelen gehad dan hetgeen je aan stock ontvangen hebt.

    Als vandaag verkocht had op 4,03 had je nu terug kunnen kopen op 3,96, het is keuzes maken, je koop nooit op de laagste koersstand en verkoop ook nooit op de hoogste koers.

    Klopt en dat lijkt me van BAM uit niet onverstandig want het blijft een gok ook voor BAM, er kan bv ook opeens een gunstig bericht van de FIOD komen.
    Een bedrijf moet zich daar imo niet aanbranden, als mensen het cashdividend direct willen omzetten in aandelen kan meestal dat ook via hun broker.

    Ik ook , maar ik heb liever stock dan cash als ik kan kiezen.
    Voordeel met geld is dat je weet precies hoeveel dat gaat kosten.

    Vorig jaar heeft BAM ruim onder de dividendkoers bij kunnen kopen, ik betwijfel of ze dat nu weer lukt de grotere aandeelhouders weten ook dat BAM nog aardig bij moet kopen.:)

    BAM gears up for historical £5 million coastal clean-up at Lynemouth

    BAM is gearing up to tackle the historical pollution on the Lynemouth coast, with the final stages of preparation work now underway.

    Northumberland County Council appointed BAM earlier this year to lead on the £5 million coastal clean-up and stop historic waste deposits from washing into the sea. The work will be critical to improve the environment and support nature recovery in this area for the benefit of local residents, visitors and wildlife for years to come.

    All the necessary planning and regulatory approvals were secured for the scheme earlier this year and now a temporary bridge is being assembled and craned into position by BAM.

    Once completed, it will provide access to the north side of the River Lyne, ensuring that construction traffic doesn’t have to use the coastal road between Lynemouth and Creswell throughout the duration of the works.

    After the bridge installation, the site setup, including haul roads and the waste processing area, can be completed. In late June, BAM will begin excavating and processing the waste materials.

    This will involve separating the waste materials for safe off-site disposal and reinstating the landscape, with completion aiming for autumn 2024.

    Gareth Farrier, Regional Director, North of England at BAM, said: ‘It is rewarding to see the BAM team begin the physical works for this important environmental project, which aligns perfectly with our own values of building a sustainable tomorrow. Seeing the temporary bridge installed is the first visible step to implementing a long term solution for this historic landfill site to prevent industrial waste, plastics and pollution from damaging the valuable Northumberland coastline. We look forward to seeing the works progress towards a comprehensive restoration of habitat for local wildlife and a safer marine environment.’

    Council Leader Glen Sanderson said: ‘We’re now seeing key infrastructure going in ahead of the main work starting on this major clean-up project that will significantly improve the environment along this part of the county’s coastline which has been blighted by past industrial activity. It’s a very expensive scheme but one that is so important, not just locally but for the whole county, in tidying up and restoring this land to the way it should be. This is a key project in our commitment to put the environment at the heart of everything we do and in a few months, we’ll see benefits for local residents, visitors and our wildlife for years to come.’

    BAM has today, together with 12 Tier One UK infrastructure and construction contractors and consultants, published a Blueprint for Growth, sharing 12 recommendations that the future government should implement to effectively boost the UK’s economic growth and productivity.

    Collectively directly employing nearly 100,000 people across the UK and representing £25 billion of UK revenue – which can be factored by at least a three-fold economic impact as infrastructure investment generates significant wider economic benefit in the wider supply chain and communities – the Blueprint for Growth represents the asks of a significant portion of the UK infrastructure and construction industry.

    With the current Government’s Major Projects Portfolio consisting of an unprecedented 244 projects requiring delivery, and an established and clear correlation between investment in infrastructure and GDP growth – with the industry one of the most effective, efficient, and sustainable ways of spreading jobs and skills across the country – the Blueprint for Growth is a clear collective ask to align on a number of key areas:

    Depoliticise infrastructure.
    Appoint a Cabinet Minister responsible for infrastructure.
    Increase private investment in public infrastructure.
    Timely, holistic decision-making on key areas.
    Improve budget setting for infrastructure schemes.
    Efficient risk allocation.
    Investment continuity.
    Simplify the judicial review process.
    Mandate consideration of the national interest.
    Self-certification system to accelerate delivery of infrastructure projects
    Transform the Apprenticeship Levy.
    A flexible immigration system.

    The Blueprint for Growth represents a notable collective commitment from the UK infrastructure and construction industry to collaborate with policymakers, industry stakeholders and government agencies to help develop the twelve recommendations and realise the shared vision of a thriving infrastructure sector which continues to drive sustainable growth, create jobs and build a brighter future for the UK.
