    Celyad Oncology (Euronext: CYAD) (Brussels:CYAD) (Paris:CYAD) (NASDAQ:CYAD) (the “Company”), today announces the publication of the preclinical data of the non-gene edited allogeneic CYAD-211 and clinical data from the Phase I IMMUNICY-1 clinical study which evaluated CYAD-211 in relapsed or refractory (r/r) multiple myeloma (MM) patients.     CYAD-211 is the Company’s first allogeneic chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell candidate, engineered to co-express a B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA)-specific CAR and a microRNA-based single shRNA which interferes with the expression of the CD3? component of the T-cell receptor (TCR) complex, evaluated clinically.

    The IJMS publication includes preclinical data which showcases the knockdown of CD3? efficiently removed the TCR complex from the cell surface, and inhibited TCR mediated activation in vitro and in vivo. The publication also presents clinical data of the dose-escalation segment of the IMMUNICY-1 phase-I clinical trial (NCT04613557) in patients with r/r MM. Importantly, data highlighted an overall good safety profile and some clinical responses, with no signs of graft-versus-host disease (GvHD), demonstrating the effectiveness and safeness of the technology to abrogate the risk of GvHD.

    Overall, these data provides the proof-of-concept of the safe administration of CAR T-cells engineered using a miRNA-based shRNA technology. CYAD-211 is the first allogeneic CAR T-cell candidate using a non-gene edited approach to achieve allogenicity. This differentiated strategy provides key advantages by being easily implemented, safe, efficient, tunable, and with the possibility to modulate multiple target genes simultaneously.

    The publication will also be archived under “Scientific Publications” in the Science section of the Company’s website located at www.celyad.com.
    Dit is toch zeker heel goed nieuws waar Celyad mee komt. Dit kan wel eens heel hard omhoog gaan vandaag. Dat hebben we in het verleden vaak genoeg meegemaakt.

    Koers ging 3 maanden geleden met aardig volume naar de 1,10. En volgens mij was dat toen zonder nieuws. Vandaag is Celyad dus met zeer goed nieuws gekomen. Kan zomaar weer richting de 1,00 vandaag of morgen.

    En meteen weer een freeze omhoog. Ben benieuwd waar we einde van de dag opstaan. Koers kan erg hard omhoog gaan bij Celyad dat hebben we vaak genoeg meegemaakt.

    Is te vroeg voor mij. Ik doe dit als hun of één van hun concurrent een succesvol medicijn weet te maken uit het onderzoek. Is als patiënt dat ik in het onderzoek ben geïnteresseerd geraakt. Ben dan ook nog meer geïnteresseerd in Galapagos want die staan wel verder in mijn ogen.

    Weinig volume komt alleen maar door weinig verkopers. Toen ik keek daarstraks waren er 30K aandelen gevraagd aan marktprijs en er waren er in totaal maar 20K te koop. Er is veel minder aanbod dan vraag. Dan kan het aantal in volume ook niet reusachtig zijn. Al 171K stuks trouwens vandaag wat volgens mij evenveel is als de laatste 2 weken gecombineerd.

    Neen. Ik vind daghandel bedrijven met dit fonds een vrijwel onbegonnen zaak, vanwege de ene na de andere freeze.

    Hoewel het PB van vandaag heel positief is, maak ik me zorgen over Celyads kaspositie op de korte termijn (twee kwartalen), en hoe men dat probleem het hoofd gaat bieden.
