   Na het debacle met GIGM tijdens de bubbel begin jaren 2000 is er geen lijk uit de kast gerold..
   Tot heden heeft het management altijd zijn woord gehouden!
   Vandaar dat de koers vanaf nov 2005 van $ 1,75 nu naar $ 21 is gestegen..
   
   We zien het wel vanmiddag...

   Vandaar dat de koers vanaf nov 2005 van $ 1,75 nu naar $ 21 is gestegen..

   Met "vinden ze weer een lijk in een kast en weg is de euforie" doel ik niet op GIGM maar op het beurssentiment dat ook een rol speelt bij de koersvorming van GIGM.

   million; essentially flat compared with Q2 of 2007.
   
   -- Consolidated net income of $9.7 million, up 49 percent year-over-year.
   Sequential Q-over-Q decrease of 4 percent from Q2 2007. GAAP basic and
   fully-diluted earnings per share were $0.18 and $0.16, respectively.
   
   -- Non-GAAP consolidated net income, which excludes non-cash share-based
   compensation expenses, of $10.2 million. Non-GAAP basic and fully-
   diluted earnings per share were $0.19 and $0.17, respectively, down 1
   percent from Q2 of 2007.

   GigaMedia Limited ("GigaMedia" or the "Company") (Nasdaq: GIGM - News) announced today third-quarter revenues climbed 76 percent to $43.0 million, and operating income increased 66 percent to $10.0 million, both in comparison to the same period of last year, driven by continued strong revenue growth from its poker software business in Continental Europe and growing contributions from its online games business in Asia.
   
   Net income was $9.7 million, up 49 percent year-over-year and down 4 percent sequentially over the second quarter of this year, with the year-over- year increase due to growing profits in the core poker software and Asian online game businesses, and the quarterly sequential decrease due to declining profits in the legacy broadband ISP business. Third-quarter 2007 non-GAAP basic and diluted earnings per share were $0.19 and $0.17, respectively, which excludes non-cash share-based compensation expenses.
   
   During the third quarter, Everest Poker received one of the online gaming industry's top honors, winning the Poker Operation of the Year award at the 2007 eGaming Review Awards ceremony in London. The award ceremony also saw Everest Poker winning in the Hot Shot Operator of the Year category. Together, the awards highlight the quality, strength and incredible growth of Everest Poker, which in just two years has become a favorite site of players worldwide.

   Analisten hadden 0.14 verwacht.
   Het is geworden:
   GAAP basic and fully-diluted earnings per share were $0.18 and $0.16
   non-GAAP basic and diluted earnings per share were $0.19 and $0.17
   
   We zien het vanmiddag wel wat de markt ervan denkt en hoe de CC verloopt.
   Het is ook zeker niet uitgesloten dat de analisten hun koersdoelen omhoog bijstellen op basis van deze cijfers.

   Ik ben ingestapt op gem.19,55.
   Prompt hierna een grote stroomstoring in NH van 16.00 tot 18.00 uur. Log net in en zie dat het de goede kant op is gegaan.

   jup, lijkt erop dat ze weer flink bezig zijn geweest met het schudden aan de boom. alle zwakke handjes eruit en de koers kan weer omhoog. niets mis met de cijfers of outlook.

    Pareltje is na geweldige groeicijfers inderdaad weer terug gezakt van een hoogtepunt van 25,42 naar nu iets boven de 17.
    
    Mag meestal in aanloop naar de cijfers flink omhoog.
    
    Stond vorige week nog boven de 19 en eind vorig jaar boven de 20.
    
    Jay is weer eens ingestapt voor een ritje omhoog.
    Nieuwsbericht mag wel meerwerken hieraan.

    dit is wel de bodem ongeveer, kan misschien nog een kort ritje maken naar de $15 maar op dit niveau kopen en paar maanden vasthouden zou een goed rendement moeten opleveren.
    
    Q4 cijfers zullen ergens half maart komen. in aanloop daarnaar zal de koers zeker stijgen.
