    verlustigen jullie je zo in je leed, tjonge tjonge zeg;
    en ook al underdogpositie, dat je zo goedkoop wordt uitgekocht;
    wat dacht je van de eerste investeerders, dat die dat pikken, en de grote fondsen?
    gek, maar ik kijk er echt anders tegenaan, en wacht positief verder af.

    en de fransen steunen naar mijn mening, maar willen niet een overname.

    voor wat het waard is ;-)

    al vaker gebleken bij GTC-b
    niets is wat het lijkt .
    steeds meer die-hard believers stappen uit,
    hun aandelen worden door believers die vasthouden aangekocht, bij de minste of geringste scheet,zal het aandeel omhoogschieten, dat is vorige week al gezien hoe met zeer weinig vollume de koers omhoog klom;
    imho zijn alle traders (behalve JaySS dan..) eruit en genezen.

    GTC Biotherapeutics is engaged in the development, production and commercialization of therapeutic proteins expressed and purified from the milk of transgenic animals such as goats and cattle. ATryn, the companys major product, is a recombinant human antithrombin produced in the milk of transgenic goats.

    GTC BIOTHERAPEUTICS RECEIVES NASDAQ NOTICE


    FRAMINGHAM, MA – November 11, 2008 -- GTC Biotherapeutics, Inc. ("GTC" or “the Company”, Nasdaq: GTCB) received notice from the Listing Qualifications Staff (“Staff”) of The NASDAQ Stock Market indicating that GTC no longer satisfies the minimum $2.5 million stockholders’ equity requirement for continued listing on The NASDAQ Capital Market, as set forth in Marketplace Rule 4310 (c)(3).



    “We will be submitting our plan to regain compliance tothe NASDAQ Staff and we look forward to engaging in this discussion through the review and, if necessary, appeal process,” stated Geoffrey F. Cox, GTC’s Chairman of the Board and CEO. “Our strengths in expected near term news flow as well as the financial support from current and potential future partners leaves GTC well positioned to regain compliance.”



    The NASDAQ Staff requested that the Company provide a plan to achieve and sustain compliance with all requirements for continued listing, including the time frame for completion of the plan. The Company anticipated receipt of the NASDAQ notice and is preparing its plan for timely submission to NASDAQ. If, after the conclusion of the NASDAQ Staff’s review, the Staff determines not to accept the Company’s plan of compliance, then the NASDAQ Staff will provide the Company with written notification that its securities are subject to delisting from The NASDAQ Capital Market. At that time, the Company would be afforded the opportunity to request a hearing before a NASDAQ Listing Qualifications Panel. In such an event, the Company’s securities would remain listed on NASDAQ pending a decision by the Panel following the hearing.

    Ik ook, al is het maar een kleine portie van wat ooit was.

    Op 25 cent 70k aangeschaft en eerst maar eens morgen afwachten als de mist opgetrokken is en alle teleurgestelde beleggertjes toch hun stukjes GTCB weer willen hebben. Zo groot is de handel niet geweest de afgelopen maanden en als hij ging, ging hij hard.

    Op dit niveau mag je hier wel even renteloos een paar dagen in zitten. Ik ga voorlopig uit van een herstel naar 30 cent / plus 20% maar verkoop niet direct op dat niveau.

    Gemiddeld nu 23 cent voor de langere termijn.

    ook bijgekocht .............., mede naar verklaringen, meermaals, door cox dat lfb een excellente partner is en voor bridge-loan heeft gezorgd;
    het overbrugt een moeilijke tijd;
    de intenties zijn anders dan veel posters hier vermoeden, hetgeen past bij mjn idee hoe een frans overheidsbedrijf zich opstelt, naar een buitenlandse partner.

    Inderdaad, al heb ik mijn eigen "vrouwtje" ook nog.

    Ik neem aan dat we kort, lang of breed weer richting 31 cent en hoger gaan.

    Ik beschouw dat als het instapniveau van de financiers + warrants. Dat de koers daarna meestal onder die koers zakt is ook bekend (teleurstelling huidige beleggers ivm verwatering).

    Maar ik heb minimaal 20 fondsen daarna zien herstellen tot boven die koers, aangezien het bedrijf zijn financiering rond heeft en klaar is om de investeringen te gaan laten renderen boven het "verkoop"-niveau. Dit uiteraard los van willekeurig fors negatief nieuws na dit tijdtip.

    Kortom (voor degenen die mij niet kunnen volgen) heb ik weer 50k bijgekocht vandaag op het onwaarschijnlijke niveau van 17 cent. Hiermee het gemiddelde terug gebracht tot 20,9 cent. Verkoop niet onder de 31 cent, die er straks echt wel staat, dus ik reken dit jaar (!) toch nog op 50% winst op deze positie.

    Bofkont, als je dan de transactiekosten erbij rekent zijn ze niet zo erg voordelig meer. Ik heb dit soort 'gelukjes'ook al een paar keer gehad.
