Harold Goddijn over 2014;
Apart from a further strengthening of our PND and sports activities, we will keep looking this year for opportunities to introduce successful new products.
So will TomTom in two to three years still be an independent company. I cannot say anything about it. The only thing I will say is that we have important strategic assets and products. We do not have that many map manufacturers in the world. Applications, location information, geographical information is becoming more and more important and for manufacturers and other producers this is a very important product strategically. We know this. We are aware of that. We know this is an important asset that we have and of course now we need to make sure that we cash in on that on the mid and long term
Apple is an important client. With our maps we are on all Iphones, Ipads. That is important and we expect that we can get more out of this relationship but at this moment for commercial purposes I cannot go into detail. Actually I cannot do that. But it is an important client and we expect that in the field of map production in the future we can benefit from that relationship. We have a huge installed base with over three hundred to four hundred million (300,000,000-400,000,000) users, this but there is a seal of approval. I mean if Apple uses our maps why can’t someone else uses our maps? That is a significant effect we also notice in the automotive industry. That is a factor that you need to take into account. But now that Apple is further in their location-based platforms, in the future we will see opportunities to build the relationships.
